Jimmy Fallon is easing his way on to America's televisions, where he'll eventually land next year when he takes over hosting duties for Conan O'Brien. Until then, he's on the internet. Yesterday the former SNL cast member put up his first "blog, or vlog, if you wanna use that word" which, as Gawker points out, had a 1:36 runtime which "was far short of the 5 minute target." During that short time he announced that The Roots will be his house band, and he'll officially be taking over Studio 6B come March 2nd. In the meantime, more Jimmy is promised each night at 12:30 a.m., to be delivered right here.

New Brooklyn Cooking Show Serves Up Love
Dating and eating converge in a new Brooklyn-based program called the Feed Me Show...and it looks like the producers need some Brooklyn singles to heat things up in their kitchen:
We're looking for a few attractive Brooklyn singles who have it where it counts -- in the kitchen. No acting experience necessary, but you must have an exhibitionistic streak, cause we're going to get up close and personal on video, in a series that hits the web this spring. No sex, no nudity. This is not an icky "modeling" call. We're all about food and love.Guys and gals will have to whip up some personality along with a meal during a kitchen tryout before getting any airtime. But the powers that be say even royally screwing up your dish could be charming. They just filmed their first episode, and if you want your shot at love served up with a piping-hot plate of pasta puttanesca, check here for info.
Three Thug Mice in the Cartoon Jungle
Cartoons just got a little more real with The Three Thug Mice, an online series set in New York City. The 35 animated shorts follow the tales (and tails!) of three rodent crooks named Vic, Tik and Brik. Described as an "ongoing ghetto saga" set in some of the seedier sectors of the concrete jungle, the trio's home turf is light years away from Disney World. (Though that is the Hotel Chelsea in the background, which isn't so seedy; wonder if that frog jumped after BD Hotels took over management.)
