It might be the bizarro world, but the Knicks are not complaining about the surging (if you can call two games a surge) Jeremy Lin. The Knicks had signed the Harvard graduate off of waivers last December as a backup point guard, not expecting much. But then a dazzling 25-point game against the Nets on Saturday—plus other Knicks injuries and absences—prompted coach Mike D'Antoni to start Lin against the Jazz. And Lin led the team with 28 points. So the NY Times has a feature on the "Linsanity": "From Ivy Halls to the Garden, Surprise Star Jolts the N.B.A."

Knicks Officially Welcome Tyson Chandler, Eye Mike Bibby
After a crazy couple days of wheeling and dealing, the dust is starting to settle on some of the big NBA moves. This is especially true for the Knicks, who completed a series of small moves and officially welcomed center Tyson Chandler to the team with a four-year deal reportedly worth $58 million. "He brings everything that we didn't have...We got a lot better, real quick," said coach Mike D'Antoni.
NBA Trade Rumormill Insanity: Tyson Chandler Reportedly Close To Signing With The Knicks
We're well into what Bill Simmons has called "one of the craziest months in NBA history," and things are starting to go bonkers with trade rumors. According to Yahoo, the Knicks are on the verge of signing center Tyson Chandler to a four year/$58 million deal. To free up space for Chandler, who played with the champion Dallas Mavericks last season, the Knicks will have to shed the contracts of Chauncey Billups and Ronny Turiaf.
Last Night's Action: Another Fun Night In Knickland
The Knicks clinched a losing record for the season with their 100-88 defeat Monday, but what happened off the court was much more interesting. Stephon Marbury, the pariah point guard who was reportedly banned from MSG, was supposed to show up tonight. At the morning shootaround Isiah told reporters, “We expect him here tonight,” when discussing Marbury. And, true to form, Marbury made his coach look bad again by not showing up at all.
