According to Teen Beat NY Edition, Bieber's record label Universal had to seek the permission of a Manhattan Supreme Court Judge for their record contract because of Bieber's age. Meanwhile, Bieber fans have been sending death threats to starlet Kim Kardashian because Bieber referred to her in passing as his girlfriend. Ever suave and in control, Bieber asked his fans to cool it on Twitter, noting, she's "a very sexy friend but a friend. no need 4 threats. Let's all be friends and hang out often." We tried our best to bury our heads in the sand on this Justin Bieber... thing, but this is just something we're going to have to come to terms with, like shingles and Uggs. The young recording artist, who has previously caused mass hysteria in shopping malls, is all over Manhattan this week; according to his Twitter (which we don't follow obsessively or anything) he's appearing on BET's show 106 and Park today and Letterman's show tonight. Yesterday Bieber was charming Barbara Walters on The View, but outside the studio one teen's whole entire life was RUINED when she couldn't get in to watch the taping. Yesterday, tween singing sensation (or so Wikipedia leads us to believe) Justin Bieber was scheduled to make an appearance at the Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island. Apparently the 15-year-old's fans were really excited to see him, because thousands flocked to the mall, forcing the police to cancel the event.
