Last year we held a Laughable Hype Comedy Show at Tonic, a funnier version of our Movable Hype shows. This year, we're holding another one and it's going to be just like this Pitchfork Festival party - except, minus Sunset Rubdown, Voxtrot and the Joggers. If you did the math correctly you're left with the funny...here are the details: June 27th at Pianos (158 Ludlow Street), 9pm with Todd Barry, Eugene Mirman and Aziz......

Day 1 was long, but we managed to get a few hours of sleep and gear up for the rest of week. Last Thursday we started off our day at the South By Stereogum party. Brisket on white bread was served, Fat Tire beers were distributed and Aziz Ansari was hosting the show, which had a solid lineup: Aloha, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Thunderbirds Are Now!, Rogue Wave and Ted Leo. In February of 2005, we booked New York band The Cloud Room to play our 2nd Movable Hype show. We had heard their song Hey Now Now and it instantly stuck in our head like peanut butter to the roof of one's mouth. This is how it was for everyone we talked to.
