Kristen Buckley, Writer, Tramps Like Us

Why did you decide to write about your formative years in New Jersey? Are you trying to provide inspiration to other young New Jerseyans? Or did NJ inspire you so much that you had to pay it forward? Wait, maybe that's the same thing. The decision to write about my formative years wasn't really anything calculated. The Kristen Buckley Show

Last summer, Kristen Buckley, author and Hollywood screenwriter, emailed Gothamist to see if we'd like to read her book, The Parker Grey Show. We enjoyed it so much that we told Kristen as much and started to correspond with her on a regular basis. Seeing how much fun Gothamist has blogging, Kristen is adding another task to her duties of writing books, writing screenplays, and being a mother (and Gothamist thought we were busy): Blogging about the insanity that is life, at The Kristen Buckley Show. Whether it's about movies, trends, or the enigma that is Derek Jeter's head, the Show lives up to its promise The Show to be "your own personal evil twin, whispering into your ear." Check it out for some fun, or at least to learn a new PG-friendly swear word. more ›
