Part of the BAM Next Wave Festival, the show conceptualizes the inner life of the man whose famous “waking hallucinations” led to great breakthroughs in electricity (alternating current, hydroelectric power), wireless broadcasting (radio transmission), robotics (remote control), and mind-blowing guitar riffs. Thanks to everyone who came out to the Knitting Factory last night to help us celebrate our 2nd birthday. The music was amazing (and the cupcakes were good too). Speaking of music, thanks to Coolfer and Stereogum for deejaying and The Cloud Room, Other Passengers, The Information and Elkland for playing. We hadn't seen Other Passengers live before and they totally blew us away, we even forgot to take pictures during their set, THAT is how transfixed we were.
