The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences this morning announced the nominees for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards (here's the official PDF). And while many of the names on the list are familiar, there were some interesting switches. As various women detail their relationships with Rep. Anthony Weiner to the press, one woman has been absent from the public eye: Weiner's wife of 11 months, Huma Abedin. According to the Post, she "won't ditch her lecherous husband, and is actually working overtime to help salvage his gravely wounded political career, a close friend told The Post...even hunker[ing] down with disgraced Rep. Anthony Weiner in a New York hotel Monday night." The friend adds, "She loves her husband very much. She is committed to her husband and her marriage." But guess who is really unhappy: Abedin's boss, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former President Bill Clinton, who officiated the couple's wedding. more ›
