Occupy Wall Street is continuing its six-month anniversary action today by trying to remain in Zuccotti Park overnight. Hundreds are in the park—around 600-700, according to Ryan Devreaux, who also photographed a tarp going up and protesters who "moved in." Of course, we know that the city doesn't act kindly towards tents in Zuccotti, since a judge ruled against them, but it's been up for 20 minutes so far. And here's what it sounds like in the park, via Jeff Smith:

It's The End Of The Tent At Billy's Antiques, Weekend Party And Funeral Planned
We knew this day was coming: Billy's Antiques will be losing its tarps this weekend. Filmmaker Jenner Furst has alerted us that this will not go down without some noise, however, and this Friday, the day before their removal, there will be a big blowout under the tents. We're told this will be "an unforgettable night of bands and speakers in the tent, celebrating the mystical and iconic landmark before it disappears forever" (details below). On Saturday at 3 p.m., the tarps will then be placed in a coffin and paraded around the neighborhood—which is a very New Orleans thing to do!

Oh you Bushwickians and your tent cities. The latest in neighborhood tent news comes by way of a Craigslist posting, written by some younger folk who possibly have Where the Wild Things Are fort envy:
Gadhafi Tent Goes Up For Son's Photo Op, But Town Freaks Out
So this is what the inside of Moammer Gadhafi's controversial Bedouin tent looks like! Yesterday afternoon, the tent went up—and then was later taken down—on a Bedford, NY-estate leased by Donald Trump to some Middle East businessmen. WABC 7 reports, "Bedford Town Supervisor Lee Roberts says Gaddafi's son had the tent put back up this afternoon so he could eat and take pictures there." Now Gadhafi's son will have to resort to some Photoshop.
Trump Claims That He Fired Gadhafi's Tent
Bedford's Libyan leader camping problem is over: Donald Trump—well, his company, the Trump Organization—said, "We have requested that the tenant occupying the property in Bedford, New York, remove the tent that was erected. They have complied with this request." Which meant that Moammer Gadhafi, heading to to the 'burbs after his wild United Nations speech had to turn back to NYC.
Gadhafi To Stay With Trump?
The tabloid circus surrounding Moammer Gadhafi's first visit to American soil goes on and on and on. Now the Huffington Post claims that Gadhafi is planning to pitch his tent at the Westchester estate of Donald Trump. We have to admit we find this a bit astonishing, but times are tough for real estate moguls. A Trump spokesperson called this "absolutely false," but then qualifed, "He is not there to my knowledge." The Huffpost claimed that the deal might get scrapped if there was "bad publicity." Uh-oh.
