John Travolta To Play "Teflon Don," Junior Gotti Not So Familiar With James Franco

John Travolta has officially signed on to star as John "Teflon Don" Gotti Sr. in the upcoming indie film Gotti: Three Generations (which was better than the working title: Gabagool Lasagna Bang Bang). The movie has been the passion project of John "Deadlock Don" Gotti Jr. ever since he escaped four hung jurys, retired from the mob, and realized he needed something to do besides being a professional defendant. Now the question remains: who will play him? more ›

John Gotti Jr. Eyeing Travolta To Play "Teflon Don"

Ever since he escaped four hung juries, "Deadlock Don" John Gotti Jr. has been focused on trying to bring his life story to the big screen. He's already snagged director Nick Cassavetes, of The Notebook and My Sister's Keeper, for the project. And yesterday, Gotti Jr., Cassavetes and producer Marc Fiore met with actor John Travolta, who is in "serious negotiations" to play "Teflon Don" John Gotti Sr. in the film. more ›

John Gotti's 17-Year-Old Grandson Busted In Queens

When you grow up Gotti, getting stopped by cops may be expected, but over a pellet gun? The Post reports that John Gotti's grandson, John Gotti (son of Peter Gotti Jr.), was "busted last night in Queens after cops caught him and three pals fleeing in a car after one of them allegedly fired a pellet gun." Plainclothes cops were in Howard Beach because kids were up to Halloween shenanigans at PS 207—toilet papering and spraying shaving cream—when they "heard a shot and saw four youths fleeing in [a car] driven by the 17-year-old" Gotti. The police recovered a pellet gun that had been recovered from the car; Gotti's 14-, 15-, and 17-year-old passengers weren't ID'd and charges are pending. more ›

The prosecution of the case has ended." Which leaves him more time to pose in velour tracksuits. more ›

Flashback: Teflon Don Discusses His Ass, Church Steeple

During the feds' fourth trial against John Gotti Jr., they played tapes of Junior and his dad, the late Teflon Don John Gotti. They discussed how, once Gotti's son-in-law Carmine Agnello had immunity in a 1989 trial, Agnello admitted he bribed a juror. Junior said, "All the lawyers involved [thought it was a] very ingenious move" but Gotti thought differently, "I woulda never in a million years suggested him to say that. I woulda tell them to go f--- themselves. If there was a church robbed and I had the steeple stickin' out of my ass, I wouldn't tell them I did it." That apparently moved Junior's sister Angel to tears. more ›

Feds Say John Gotti Jr. "Led a Life of Violence"

Feds Say John Gotti Jr. "Led a Life of Violence"

In the latest case against John Gotti Jr., federal prosecutors claim the Teflon Don's son orchestrated three mob hits in NYC and ran a huge coke ring in Florida. A U.S. Attorney said, "This indictment captures a lifetime of criminality." The Daily News has a timeline (time horizon?) of cases brought against the two John Gottis and also details crimes of the friend who ratted Junior out (the friend had once smuggled another mobster's sperm out of jail). And Gotti Jr.'s alleged would-be hit victim, Curtis Sliwa, says he'd be happy to testify in this next trial. more ›
