Especially if you forgot to place your special orders for baked goods you’ll need to be lugging somewhere on Thursday, Bouchon Bakery will be your friend, confidant, and possibly your lover, all gussied up with pumpkin and chocolate shavings.

Blige, 50 Cent, Timbaland, Wyclef Jean and Tyler Perry were "among the thousands of customers of the pharmacies" DA David Soares' office has investigated.

News Radio: Season Five: It really is wonderful that this trend of releasing every last television series EVER to DVD has caught on. Some of the more obscure show available for purchase may seem a bit ridiculous but for serious TV junkies, the spotty consistency of syndication isn't enough for revisiting your favorite programs. News Radio, which ran from '95 to '99, is one of those shows that's well worth a repeat viewing, and their releasing its fifth and final season this week on DVD.

Let's step away from some of the more popular sports for a second. Move aside basketball and your NCAA Tournament. Take a chill pill baseball with your World Baseball Classic and Spring Training. Yesterday the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum hosted the Big Apple Grapple, which featuring the some of the world's best male and female arm wrestlers. All battling for NYC's King and Queen of Arms. Unfortunately, there are no results online for this scintillating display of strength.

And fresh from the spin machine, director Jay Roach tells USA Today, "Dustin and Barbra should have been a comedy team. They have great comic timing. They could have done vaudeville or I Love Lucy or even Tracy-Hepburn stuff." Right. Gothamist is sure practically the same was said of Turner & Hooch and Sylvester Stallone & Estelle Getty in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot. Defamer noted how Hoffman and Streisand's road to Fockerness had some bumps. If you want some great Barbra Streisand comedy, see What's Up Doc, which is preposterously good.

With last week's release of Seabiscuit, the Palm Beach Post's sports writers come up a list of the best sports movies ever made. Not surprisingly, the list skews towards more recent films, but Gothamist was surprised to see how much we agreed with the selections. We were especially glad that Hoop Dreams, one of the best films ever made, period, made the list, thereby not getting the short shrift for being a documentary. The top ten:

As the natural, expected follow-up to yesterday's post about Best Movie Sex Scenes, Gothamist looks bad movie sex scenes. Using The Guardian's list based on reader opinion as a starting point, of course Gothamist agrees that the love scene between Neo and Trinity in The Matrix: Reloaded is ridiculous, but the very worst scene ever? Come on, at least these two leads are sexy and appealing, even if the context and Zion is stupid. Number 2, Showgirls - that's too easy and at least it's funny. Gothamist would offer that number 4 choice The Specialist, starring Sylvester Stallone and Sharon Stone, takes the cake. They were so sculpted and oiled up in an overchoreographed shower sex scene that we thought we were watching statues flex. Not hot at all. Other films mentioned, like Color of Night and Disclosure (pretty much anything with Michael Douglas post-Romancing the Stone) are definitely up there.

How could people think that a cable movie version of Caesar would be a good idea? Just looking at photos of Chris Noth as Pompey in TNT's Caesar makes Gothamist seriously rethink the idea of a Roman Empire. And Jeremy Sisto, is he the new go-to man for TV and cable biopics about leaders many millennia ago?
