Paladino Encourages Thoughts Of Naked Cuomo
Oh sure, it's pretty obvious that Carl Paladino can talk the talk, violent threats, wit and wisdom all included. But did you know that he has mad Photoshop skills?
Continuing in his quest to be noticed by ruffle Andrew Cuomo's calm exterior, Paladino sent out a new flyer to reporters yesterday showing Cuomo in the shower, with special interests and labor parties clinging to him like grime. Also, the Democrat has a gold necklace...because he's Italian-American...but it's not a stereotype, he swears!
Queens Man Arrested For Scalding Girlfriend's Baby
An 11-month-old baby is in critical condition after suffering second degree burns over 30% of her body, and her mother's boyfriend was arrested. The Queens DA's office says that Anthony Parra, 20, was watching the baby and her two-year-old sister while their mother was at work. When Raylin Castillo refused her bottle, Parra allegedly punished her by placing her under a shower and turning up the water's heat twice and pouring even hotter water from the kitchen sink over the baby.
Summer Storm Sunday!
Earlier this evening, the skies opened up offered a torrent of rain—not to mention some strong winds that have left downed trees in all the boroughs. Then there were rainbows—and now there's more thunder and lightning! There's still a severe thunderstorm warning in effect; according to WCBS 2, the National Weather Service "has issued the alert for Queens, Kings (Brooklyn), Richmond (Staten Island), New York (Manhattan), and Bronx Counties in New York until 9:45 p.m."
$100 Million Lawsuit After Shower Scalding
A Katrina refugee who resettled in Texas following the flooding of New Orleans is suing a Manhattan hotel for $100 million, after she was nearly burnt to death in her room's shower. Ethel Tropez, a 79-year-old woman who had to resettle in Live Oak, TX after Katrina, was visiting NYC and staying at the Hotel Chandler on 31st St., near 5th Ave.
