Rapper Rick Ross has reportedly suffered a seizure on a plane, forcing it to land. According to TMZ, Ross was on a flight going from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis earlier today when he lost consciousness. A doctor on board administered CPR on the rapper, and paramedics frantically tried to revive him after the plane made an emergency landing. They say that as Ross was being wheeled off the aircraft, he appeared to show signs of life.

Bus Driver Seizure Causes Accident In Lincoln Tunnel
A bus and four cars collided in the southbound tube of the Lincoln Tunnel this afternoon. All traffic is being diverted to the center tube of the inbound Lincoln Tunnel, which means it will be traffic hell for much of the next few hours. Port Authority spokesman Steve Coleman says the crash occurred around 12:10 p.m. in Weehawken after the bus driver apparently suffered a seizure shortly before the New York tunnel exit. According to Coleman, at least two passengers were injured during the collision, but neither injury is life-threatening.

With the NYPD press office continuing to stonewall us on the matter of the bikes confiscated along Obama's motorcade route yesterday, we made some calls to the local precincts. A cop at the 9th Precinct told us that all the seized bikes were taken to the 7th Precinct. When we called over there, an unidentified officer told us to call the 9th Precinct, ha ha. But after putting us on hold, we were able to confirm that all the seized bikes were in fact taken to the 7th Precinct.
Family Has No Sympathy for Epileptic Cabbie
Cabbie Hassan Afzal was sentenced to five years probation for causing the accident that killed 20-year-old Danielle Ricco in 2006. Though he initially denied the accident was his fault, Afzal later admitted that he had stopped taking his seizure medication, and a seizure caused him to go unconscious while driving and crash his cab on the West Side Highway. Ricco's family had no sympathy for the driver today, saying at the sentencing, "You ruined enough lives by your carelessness, if that’s what it was, and I hope you live knowing this every day of the rest of your life."

5-Year-Old Honored For Saving Mom's Life With 911 Call
Awww—the FDNY made 5-year-old Tahlique Garay a "junior paramedic" for his informative—and life-saving—call to 911 when his pregnant mother passed out in their Queens home. You can listen to the 911 call here: Tahlique says, "My mommy, um, passed out a little bit," and was able to give his address, explain that she gets seizures, and unlock his door for medics. His mother, Jennifer Garay, has suffered from seizures before and explained that she prepped him just in case, "I didn't want to scare him but I had to tell him what to do if I got sick." By the time EMTs arrived, little Tahlique showed them where his mom was and explained her medical history; Jennifer Garay, who was taken to the hospital for severe dehydration, said, "He not only saved me, he saved his sister as well." And Tahlique said he'd teach his new sister and friends about 911, "Make sure to call 9-1-1 if you have an emergency or you are hurt."
Garbage Truck Driver Charged with Midtown Deaths
A driver for a private garbage trucking company was charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide. Police say that Auvryn Scarlett lost control of his truck on West 35th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues Tuesday night, fatally hitting a couple and injuring a man; they believe Scarlett had a seizure and note he recently stopped taking his seizure medication.
