With his strip club in dire straits amidst allegations of on-site prostitution, Scores West owner Elliot Osher is defending his business with tortured analogies to the Clinton era. Ranting to the Daily News, Osher called the State Liquor Authority's decision to revoke his liquor license "politically motivated and ridiculous,” and went on to point out that President Bill Clinton received oral sex in the Oval Office "and they didn't close the White House." Scores West:......

You'll only be getting babes, not booze, when you go to Scores West: The State Liquor Authority has taken away the strip club's liquor license after police found prostitution at the Chelsea joint (the Upper East Side location is not affected). An SLA administrative judge wrote that prostitution was "open and notorious such that the licensee knew or should have known of its occurrence." Back in 2007, a manager told police they could receive sexual......

In February, the State Liquor Authority suspended the liquor license for Scores West, the West Chelsea exotic club where some employees were arrested for prostitution. Now, in the latest chapter of Scores West vs. the law enforcement, the Post reports that the manager for Scores West was "roughed up by lawmen" and is now in the hospital! After last month's prostitution arrests at Scores West, the State Liquor Authority has suspended the strip club's liquor license. The SLA said that the West Chelsea "posed an immediate and imminent threat to the public." Now, while Scores West will still be able to operate, they won't be able to tempt their customers with drinks, which may very well impact the bottom bikini-wax line as it were. But there is always the original Scores location......

At the very end of today's Daily News story about the NYPD busting prostitution deals at high end strip club Scores, the News reports, "A police source said cops began investigating the club after getting a tip from a disgruntled customer in October." Which can mean so many things. While four strippers and two Scores managers say they are innocent, the police say otherwise. Apparently the managers would arrange trysts between customers and strippers in......

Four strippers at Scores West in Chelsea were arrested for offering to have sex with undercover cops. Hello, nightlife and cabaret beat! From the Post: The cops spent several hours inside the temple of titillation at 528 W. 28th St. looking for violations, sources said. They were told that if they rented a back room, they could receive sexual favors for $200 to $700, the sources said. One of the girls assured the cops, "What......

With cameras in tow, Gothamist went to the Penthouse Executive Club to check out the 2005 Penthouse Pet of Year Party. With developments like the Executive Club, Hustler, and Scores West Side on the West Side, one wonders why there is any need for a West Side Stadium at all! Gothamist Interviewee and sex doctor, Victoria Zdrok, was the outgoing pet of the year, ceding the Martina Warren. Little did we know that we......

Another look at the upscale strip clubs - no, make that "gentlemen's club" - populating Manhattan in the Times, which looks at the Penthouse Executive Club, Hustler, and Scores West Side. Some call Rudy Giuliani's efforts to clean up Times Square and rezone adult entertainment as the motivation for fancy clubs, although no one's denying that finding more outrageous ways to fleece happy men of their money with naked women and alcohol was hard. Besides......
