A few weeks ago, we heard about the High Line's plan to open a temporary roller rink under the newly opened Phase II of the park, and yesterday, the rink became reality, with a little help from kids from the Hudson Guild, professional skaters from the Central Park Dance Skaters Association, the Gotham Girls Roller Derby, and, of course, Susan Sarandon.
