Barcade, the much-loved Williamsburg bar that combines beer with arcade games (it also has outposts in Jersey City and Philadelphia), wants to take you on a beer-heavy road trip this holiday season (don't worry—they're driving). The bar is teaming up with Sixpoint Brewery for a holiday fundraiser called "Highway To Help," which, cheesy title aside, sounds like a pretty solid way to spend a Saturday.

Woman Walking Across The Country For The Hell Of It
A 24-year-old woman has decided to pull a Forrest Gump, and make her way across the country from San Francisco to NYC. Catherine Li tells MSNBC that she has a very specific reason why she is doing it: just cause. “I just boil it down to the short version: I just felt like walking. I just decided to click over to living in the actual moment instead of inventing all these fantastic fantasies for the future,” she said.

According to the magazine one of America's greatest tragedies led to possibly the most surreal road trip we've ever heard of. Oh, to have been a fly on the windshield of the rental car that Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Marlon Brando drove from New York to Ohio en route to California!
McCartney and Shevell Get Their Kicks on Route 66
Reports from the road are that Paul McCartney and his girlfriend/MTA board member Nancy Shevell have been vacationing on Route 66. They're driving in the 1989 green Ford Bronco the two allegedly shared their first kiss in (aw), and eating at fine dining establishments such as T.G.I.Fridays! The two have nearly come to the end of their month-long journey, recently at a stop in Texas the Beatle played "Hey Jude" on harmonica for a 4-month-old boy named after the song. The couple are also subject to a rumor that they'll be marrying sometime soon in the Hamptons. Shevell is legally separated from Port Authority commissioner Bruce Blakeman, and Macca just divorced his 2nd wife, Heather Mills, to the tune of around $50 million.
