Regardless of whether you believe prom is the apex of the best years of your life, or the epitome of the cruelty of youth, there is a reason that prom is guaranteed in the Constitution: so you can grind hips against your crush while R. Kelly plays at an uncomfortable volume. This is the right of every youngblood in America, but one Staten Island high school has done the unthinkable, and cancelled prom for a fourth of the graduating class. Did the kids of Moore Catholic High School forget to pay their library fees? Flunk out? Worse: they drew penises around their athletic field!

A few years back we saw them do a set at Sin-e as "Wolfbait", they played some great covers including R Kelly's Bump n' Grind. So you sort of don't want to miss this show, as they're slated to play as Wolfbait this time as well.
SXSW: Day 1 (one week ago, today)
We'd been gearing up for SXSW this year for months, with shows to plan and afterparties to help out with - it took up a lot of our time, even when we weren't there yet. Now that it's over, we're not quite sure what to do with ourselves, or how to recap it all. We also haven't been near a computer in a week, so bear with our slow typing.
