A razor-wielding man attacked a fellow customer at a Pathmark in Harlem yesterday morning, and in a strange twist, it was allegedly because the attacker had stepped on the victim's foot. Abdullah Mohammed, 51, was arrested and charged with assault in the first degree for stabbing William Perry, 70, in the neck with a knife after an argument at the customer service desk escalated into an assault in the meat aisle. "People ran out of the store. One guy was screaming, ‘Oh my God, I’ve never seen anything like this,’" said witness Rafael Feliciano.
Razor-Wielding Man Attacks 70-Year-Old At Harlem Pathmark
11-Year-Old Arrested For Putting Razor Blade On Slide
This is messed up: A 6-year-old was gashed when sliding down a playground slide in Dutchess County—because a razor blade was placed there! Police arrested an 11-year-old boy for putting the razor there (investigators found the razor "had been inserted into the slide through a hole created from underneath the slide, so that just the edge of the blade stuck up into the slide and would cut anyone sliding down") and apparently the boy had vandalized the Pleasant Valley playground before. The victim, Sean Yambo, required 30 stitches to close up the laceration (it's pretty gory-looking). His father told WCBS 2, "It was horrifying to say the least. Every night we're changing the gauze and what not. The pain, the agony, the screaming," and added, "I feel bad for the other kid who was involved who did it. He's 11, so something is wrong with him, too."
Razors in Muffin Give NYU Student a Close Shave
"About halfway through, I bit in and felt something hard and crunchy." That’s what NYU senior Benjamin Jarosch declared after eating part of a found muffin, and he wasn’t talking about a walnut: his innocuous-looking blueberry muffin was stuffed with three razorblades. Jarosch and his buddies had discovered the muffin, along with four others, wrapped in tin foil, upon arriving in the classroom.
Razor-Wielding Defendant Attacks Prosecutor
It was a Brooklyn courtroom proceeding that could have ended very badly for female federal prosecutor Carolyn Pokorny, who was attacked by a third-strike convict she was prepared to send to prison for life. Victor Wright is a drug dealer who was being led into court for sentencing when he suddenly lunged at 38-year-old Pokorny, seizing her by the neck. In his other hand, Wright held an inch-long razor blade.
