Raise your hand if you saw a rainbow after work last night! Seems a lot of people caught this one, which looks to have been in view from practically anywhere in the city (even on the Water Taxi ride to Red Hook). Although it didn't originate from the very essence of Julian Schnabel's soul this time around, they can't all be art stars. Here are some shots readers sent in from around town.......

A reader sent in this photo, taken Sunday evening, of which he says, "My friends and I debated whether it had in actuality landed on Julian Schnabel's apartment, or if it was simply radiating from the very core of his being thru an open window." Clearly it's the latter. That, or rainbows are like a Bat Signal for Schnabel and he was needed back at Chupi immediately regarding a buyer for the triplex penthouse.......

One upside to yesterday's torrential downpour: A few people captured photographs of rainbows around the city. Here's hoping anyone caught after today's rains see rainbows, too.......
