Yesterday, CNN announced that former governor Eliot Spitzer would be co-hosting a "roundtable discussion" show (a format CNN once sneered at), and naturally the Post has all the best Spitzer-hating comments. An "exasperated worker at the once-dominant cable station" said, "CNN just lost the struggle for its soul. It's the destruction of a brand. It's like Campbell's Soup putting O.J. Simpson on the can."

NBC Confirms It: Leno Is Back To Late Night
Rumors that Jay Leno will get his nighttime slot back from Conan O'Brien were confirmed today by NBC. The switch comes after the failure of The Jay Leno Show, a prime-time clone of The Tonight Show which "didn't meet affiliates' needs," according to Jeff Gaspin, chairman of NBC Universal Television Entertainment.
Hevesi Says He Won't Resign
During an election debate, State Comptroller Alan Hevesi said he would not resign after the State Ethics Commission found he violated state law by having a state driver chauffeur his wife. Hevesi made what the NY Times called "a spirited and at times emotional defense tha was alternately apologetic and defiant." He also continued to claim there were security threats against his wife - hence the need for a driver - threats the State Ethics Commission found to be non-existent.
