Earlier this month thousands converged at Union Square for a massive pillow fight, but now the Daily News is taking a look at what was happening behind the scenes before the feathers flew. Reportedly the NYPD assigned plainclothes and uniformed officers from the Intelligence Division to conduct surveillance, something some officers deemed a waste of time because it "was just about a bunch of high school kids goofing off." more ›

The organizers at Newmindspace say, "Teddies fly and pillows soar as we gather for a massive urban pillow fight in Union Square. Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants.
