Earlier, there were police scanner reports about a person under the L train at 1st Ave and 14th Street. Now we hear the person is dead. The MTA's website says, "Due to a police investigation at the 1st Avenue Station, there is no L train service in both directions between the Bedford Avenue Station and the 8th Avenue Station.
