Last night, a woman was found dead in a SUV which was parked on the second floor of an Essex Street parking garage. The woman, identified as 39-year-old Leonida Davila, was slashed in the throat. Her body was wrapped in a blanket, in the front passenger seat. The Daily News says the car, a Chevy Suburban, is registered to Davila's estranged husband William Davila, who lives on Rutgers Street.
