Nassau County police has arrested a 23-year-old female teacher for an alleged sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female student. According to the police, Kaitlin Grant was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sexual act and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Yesterday a Manhattan ROTC instructor at a Hell's Kitchen high school was arrested on charges he inappropriately touched a 14-year-old girl on school grounds earlier this month. A history teacher in New Jersey was arrested yesterday morning and accused of carrying on a months-long inappropriate relationship with a former student, a 16-year-old at Passaic Valley High School where he worked. 32-year-old Kyle Daniw was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. "There is no evidence other than this child, but we are investigating whether there are other victims," Chief Assistant Prosecutor Joseph A. Del Russo told the Record. The NYPD has released this sketch of a man they say posed as a police officer and sexually assaulted a teenage boy in Brooklyn on Friday morning. According to police, the man, who was dressed as a civilian, approached the 15-year-old boy around 9:30 a.m. on a subway platform at the 53rd Street and 4th Avenue subway station in Sunset Park. After seeing the teen throw an empty bag of chips onto the platform, investigators say he produced what appeared to be a police badge and ordered the teen to accompany him. more ›
