Paramus Pervs: NJ Teachers Busted For Sex With Students On Trip Abroad

Let's be clear, it is still a crime to sleep with a minor while in a foreign country. For example: Bergen County police last night arrested two chaperones from the Paramus Catholic High School Belgium/Germany exchange program, 27-year-old Michael Sumulikoski and 31-year-old Artur Sopel, for allegedly engaging in "inappropriate sexual contact" with three female students on the ten-day February jaunt abroad. A fourth girl has also come forward to say she had sexual activities with Sopel last spring while she was a student at the school. Robbers Steal NJ Cemetery's Urns for Scrap Metal

Desperate times apparently mean desperate people are robbing cemeteries for scrap metal. In this case, MyFox NY reports that the scrap metal comes in the form of grave markers' urns. At George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ, the graves do not have headstones--just plaques which lie flat on the ground. Many have plaques have bronze urns which can be taken out for flowers, and robbers have been sneaking into the cemetery at night and stealing them. They can get $10 for an urn that costs $350 to replace. The police have arrested three people so far. The cemetery is increasing patrols, but MyFox NY pointed out there are still areas for robbers to enter the partially-fenced cemetery. more ›
