A Greyhound bus travelling from NYC to St. Louis overturned early this morning on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, injuring over two dozen people. One woman was briefly pinned underneath the bus, and at least 25 of the 29 passengers were injured; three of the injured were transported by air to nearby hospitals. According to Bill Capone, the Turnpike's director of communications, "The bus overturned and we don't know what caused it. According to the state police, no other vehicle was involved in the accident."

Ex-NY1 Anchor's Wife Beating Conviction Overturned
Last year, Dominic Carter was sentenced to 30 days in jail for "punching, choking and kicking" his wife at their Rockland County home. While he was released early, now, an appellate court has overturned the conviction finding, the NY Law Journal reports, "a town justice improperly permitted the prosecution to revoke a deal that would have allowed Mr. Carter to avoid jail time."
3 Dead After Staten Island Driver's SUV Overturns On Garden State Parkway
Yesterday three Staten Island families were struck by tragedy when an SUV carrying seven people overturned on the Garden State Parkway. A 2003 Ford Expedition driven by Dimitrios "Jimmy" Iliopoulos, 54, "swerved and then smashed into a right-hand guardrail" and "overturned at least twice." Iliopoulos' sons Hlias, 18, and Chrystoph, 13, and their friend Eric Colligan, 15, were thrown from the SUV into the highway and died.
Lesbian Attackers Win Appeal!
Two of the women involved the infamous lesbian catcall beatdown of Aught Six may get out of jail soon, the Times reports. A four-judge appeals court yesterday overturned the convictions of Terrain Dandridge and Renita Hill, who are currently doing time on assault charges after they attacked a man who they say tried to woo them outside the Greenwich Village IFC Center with come-ons like “I’ll fu-k you straight.”
