A Murray Hill gynecologist just managed to make your next visit even more awkward! The doc has started selling sex toys after his own sex life was revived by vibes. Dr. Andrew Scheinfeld told Details magazine he provides his patients with easy access to bondage and pegging gear, such as handcuffs, masks, and strap-ons—noting people stuck in ruts should mix things up in the bedroom.

Doctor Retires Over Rising Malpractice Costs, Lower Pay
Brooklyn ob-gyn Dr. Jacqueline Perlman tells the Post, "I've decided to retire from obstetrics. It breaks my heart. Malpractice costs are a big part of it. It's a very sad story." Obstetricians are considered high-risk and her insurance was canceled—and even though she never had a malpractice suit or settlement, a new insurer wanted $160,000/year. Plus, she said "her income has dropped by 20 percent" as the malpractice costs have gone up.
Worst OB/GYN Ad Campaign Ever?
Greenpoint ladies, there's a new doctor in town, or at least an old one with a new marketing campaign. Dr. Leon Nitkin has posted ads for his OB/GYN practice on some "of the newly-renovated buildings on the south side of Greenpoint Ave b/t Manhattan and Franklin. Everything about it says 'please don’t let this man touch your privates, even in a medical context.'" Well, not everyone can be as web-savvy as Dr. Parkinson or his Hello Health franchise. Anyway, the doc appears to be legit, maybe he just needs to ditch the over-eager smile and bowtie. And Pistols and Popcorn saw the ads on Jay Street.
