Last weekend, Charlie Todd and his intrepid band of pantsless improv agents were met with fierce NYPD resistence at the 59th Street 4/5/6 station. The dust has finally begun to settle, and Charlie has posted the video of the event, along with a long wrapup with literally dozens of panty pictures. He also discusses the arrests:

Jason Kidd and Allan Houston, who both returned recently from injury, saw limited action, playing 21 and 11 minutes respectively. Some credit for the win has to go to the Knicks defense though. No matter how bad the Nets are, the Knicks managed to hold the Nets without a field goal for more than 15 minutes during the 3rd and 4th quarters.

Under new testing guidelines, the EPA has announced that the New York City area is 9 of 474 counties in the country that do not meet the federal health standard for smog-causing ozone. The results only show us what we already knew, since we were already violating the older, more lenient standard. While they probably didn't have to spend all that money testing just to tell us that, at least our whole state didn't fail like New Jersey did. We now have until 2007 to come up with a plan to fix the problem and until 2010 to make the air cleaner.

The main witness is the Burke O'Brien murder is not cooperating. Gothamist is starting to think he might have had something to do with the murder, which took place on Orchard Street on January 12th.
