Performing at Battery Park this afternoon is alt-country-rocker Ryan Adams. Adams, besides being an alt-whatever darling with his bedhead hair, is also an ex of Winona Ryder (the requirement of any up-and-coming musician) and well-known for filming a video for "New York, New York" with the World Trade Center in the backdrop a few days before September 11.
