A 66-year-old man driving a Nissan Maxima was fatally hit by a drunk driver on Woodhaven Boulevard, between 101st Avenue and 97th Avenue in Ozone Park. Twenty-five-year-old Christopher Rivera, driving a Honda Accord, crossed the road's median around 10:45PM and slammed into the Maxima driving in the opposite direction. The Maxima then hit a third car, a BMW. The Maxima's driver was pronounced dead at the scene, his passenger was injured, as well as Rivera...

Remy Ma, the female rapper who was suspected in a shooting early Saturday morning shortly after leaving Pizza Bar in the Meatpacking District, turned herself in and was questioned by police. According to The New York Times, Ma and the victim were arguing inside Pizza Bar, where they were attending a birthday party, about $3,000 that was missing from the rapper's purse. Makeda Barnes-Joseph––the woman who would eventually get shot––left the party with the rest of the group and got into her Nissan Maxima while Ma got into her Cadillac Escalade. Police believe the shooter got into Barnes-Joseph's car, shot her twice in the abdomen, and retreated to the Escalade, which sped off and crashed two blocks from the scene of the shooting.

An afternoon spree of shootings and carjackings by one man was ended yesterday by police, who fatally shot the suspect in a gun battle where 130+ shots were fired. A 23-year-old named Victor Gordon, with ten arrests already listed on his rap sheet, left his girlfriend's apartment on President St. after an argument. He walked over to St. Paul's Place just south of Prospect Park––perhaps stopping at a few bars along the way––and stole a Dodge Charger at gunpoint just before 2 p.m. He drove it back to the home of his ex-girlfriend, where he began firing shots into her front door. The Daily News reports that Gordon was visibly drunk at this time. As he stumbled down the steps from her building, he dropped his gun and then picked it up and brandished it at a group of children playing nearby.

Early yesterday morning, the Q65 bus was hit by a Nissan Maxima whose driver ran a red light at Booth Memorial Avenue and 164th Street in Flushing. According to the MTA, the "Maxima was heading east on Booth Memorial Avenue and entered the intersection through a red light. The Maxima struck the left front corner of the bus." And from the looks of the pictures and TV footage, it was a crazy crash. The Maxima and bus ended up off the road, "knocking down a traffic signal pole."

Yesterday, three pedestrians were killed in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan:

- At around 12 a.m, Mario Sagastume was hit by a Nissan Maxima when crossed Ashford Street near Liberty Avenue in East New York. The Maxima did not stop, though people were chasing the car. Residents mentioned that there are frequent accidents and that there should be a light at the intersection.

There's always some sort of trouble in West Chelsea. Last night, two off-duty police officers were assaulted by a group around 4AM. Officers Richard Lomax and Robert DeFazio, friends who both graduated from the Police Academy last year, were in a Ford Explorer that apparently slid on ice at West 28th Street and 10th Avenue. They rear-ended a Nissan Maxima, whose driver and passengers were not happy: Lomax, who was driving, and DeFazio got out of the car, and the Maxima's passengers attacked them as Lomax was dialing 911.

A drunk woman fatally hit a pedestrian in a Staten Island parking lot - and not only was the driver drunk, she also naked during the incident. The police say Taliyah Taylor drove her Nissan Maxima into an intersection late last night, hitting 41 year old Larry Simon. Her car then "sideswiped a Toyota, kept going west for about 300 yards, jumped a curb and hurtled an six-foot fence into a parking lot shared by Lowe's and Kohl's Department store," according to WABC 7. Witnesses say she was driving around 90-100 MPH and didn't stop after hitting Simon. And it turns out that Simon's brother had been waiting for him nearby.

And in Williamsburg, a van hit a 10 year old girl who was riding her bike at Scholes and Leonard Streets. The Post says Natasha Ayala had "darted out from behind a parked car when she was hit." She was taken to Bellevue; the van's driver stayed at the scene to help.
