Report: Ron Paul *Did* Sign Off On Racist Newsletters

Congressman Ron Paul is currently placing third in the Floria primary polls, behind former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (who is leading!) and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, but he got amused at last night's debate, when he said of Newt Gingrich's moon base idea, "I don't think we should go to the moon. I think we maybe should send some politicians up there." Less amusing is the Washington Post's report that Paul did in fact know that his newsletters contained racist content. more ›

Tips From Gwyneth No New Yorker Needs

Tips From Gwyneth No New Yorker Needs

Last week word of Gwyneth Paltrow's future TriBeca gym came out, now the Daily News is suggesting the star learn a little bit about New York City (specifically how it's comprised of five boroughs, not just Uptown and Downtown) saying: "News flash, Gwyn: New York doesn't start at the Bowery and end at Barney Greengrass." This all stems from her latest GOOP newsletter, which focuses on her favorite NYC restaurants and hotels (don't worry which ones, only Oscar winners can get in and afford them). She prefaces the list saying: "I did most of my growing up in this glorious city and it is a part of who I am. I was an uptown kid and a downtown grownup and this duality helps define me. There will be more newsletters on this great city, with love letters to match...We will start with restaurants and hotels." Can't wait for a list of places to get five-day live-food fast ingredients! more ›
