- Sunday evening at McCarren Park is the finals for Brooklyn Kickball. Not only will the winners of Sunday's game get to take home the Chuck D trophy, they will also be able to say they have the best hipster kickball team in all of New York City. The final four are: Tigers, Burninators (the defending champs), John Cougar Mellencamps (they wear cut off jeans), and NYC Fun Club. Semi-final games are at 7 and 8 p.m. with the winner from each playing in the final at 9. Because adults playing kickball in fabulous outfits isn't entertaining enough, music will be provided by the Williamsburg Greenpoint Orchestra. more ›

How perfect. 2006 is the 20th Anniversary of the 1986 World Championship for the Mets and San Diego Serenade made an amazin' re-enactment of one of the signature moments of the World Series. As a tribute to RBI Baseball, Serenade's "favorite video game of all time," he made the video above, re-enacting the bottom of the 10th inning in game 6 and setting it to Vin Scully's broadcast of the same game. If you have 10 minutes so spare, we highly recommend watching and listening to the re-enactment. After all, can you imagine the time that was put into the re-enactment?
