We were going to ignore this story, but desperate times call for... blogging. And desperate times are upon us. Has the rest of the internet familiarized you with JJ yet? The young lad, dressed as an anime Inspector Gadget, met some girl whose name is probably Kristy, or something, on the L train on Halloween night. She was dressed as Lydia from Beetlejuice. They talked, allegedly hit it off, and she gave him her number as she got off at the Lorimer stop. Problem is: JJ (pictured) didn't hit save after typing it into his phone.

Bus Driver Reunites With Handsome Sailor
MTA bus driver Yvonne Farrington got a second chance at meeting the sailor with a "beautiful smile" she ran into over the weekend. After spotting him near the Circle Line pier, Farrington was able to snap a quick photo with the sailor before continuing on her bus route. With the help of 1010WINS, the Navy handed over information on where Farrington could find her man, and the two got to meet yesterday. Unfortunately, 34-year-old Navy Ens. Larry Chester is already taken!
Bus Driver Finds Her Sailor!
Most Fleet Week interactions are, well, fleeting, but one city bus driver is getting another lucky shot at a chance encounter with a handsome sailor. Bus driver Yvonne Farrington was only able to snap a photo with the sailor near the Circle Line Pier on Friday, and had to continue on her bus route before even getting his name. She turned to 1010WINS for help, and the Navy came through with her man!
Missed Connection: Bus Driver Seeks Hot Sailor
MTA bus driver Yvonne Farrington is searching for the sexy sailor she snapped a photo with near the Circle Line Pier, and is asking for help! She told 1010WINS, "I would really love to see him again and give him a copy of our picture," but was in such a rush to keep to her bus route that she forgot to ask him for his name, e-mail or which ship he's on. The sailor was last seen at the corner of 42nd and 12th Avenue at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, looking fiiiiine.
Wookie Can't Force Missed Connections
With straphangers desperately seeking another Patrick Moberg and Camille Hayton story to warm their commuting hearts (don't deny it), the boys at Zoomdoggle are stepping in to force their own missed connections. Their solution to finding love in the big city boils down to a Wookie suit, pensive stares and an occasional smile.
Video of the Day: The Subway Cyrano Speaks Up
People are having mixed reactions to Patrick Moberg's simple quest in trying to find the girl of his dreams. It's really working some folks up that he's attempting to track her down through more creative ways than, say, Craigslist. Well, we approve, but we too were left wondering why oh why he didn't just speak up on the subway that fateful day, when she was right there before his very eyes. He explains: Do you...
The L(ove) Train
With Craigslist becoming ever-increasingly creepy, this smitten young man has gone and purchased his own URL to find the girl he ogled on the subway last night. NYGirlOfMyDreams.com has a simple mission, it's "skinny, tall, not insane" creator would like to meet the the "fancy-braided, rosy-cheeked, journal writing" girl he saw on the the 5 train at 9:30pm last night. And if it doesn't work out, we're sure he has that URL for at...

Tunnel of Love
How do you approach a stranger on a subway that you’re making eye contact with -- without seeming like a total freak? You know what I mean ... when you lock eyes with a stranger and you think there's some vibe or chemistry... then they walk off and you will never see them again. How can one grab hold of fate without coming across as a total stalker or scary person, which I’m not!
The Subway is Our Muse
I bet you all have a good subway story in you. Actually, if you only had one that would be disappointing and we'd say you need to get your upscale ass out of that cab and ride the rails more.
