An HR Generalist and Office Manager at Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School claims she was discriminated against and eventually fired for not keeping kosher. According to the Post, Lordia Rudd claims she was the first and only non-Jewish employee of the Riverdale school, and was not allowed to use the microwave in the kitchen "because it was kosher and she was not." When she complained about her treatment to her supervisor, she was fired. Even if the microwave was kosher, the school might have a tough time in court.
