Lindsay Lohan Returns To New York

Lindsay Lohan Returns To New York

Lock up your liquor and jewelry, Lindsay Lohan is in town. The troubled former film star flew into New York with her mother and sister last night after getting permission from a judge—maybe you've seen something or two about her latest legal troubles? Not that the trip was a smooth one for LiLo. Upon arriving in JFK she felt she was set upon by paparazzi. Though you'd think she'd be used that by now. more ›

Doc In Treatment: Dwight Gooden Heads To Celebrity Rehab

Mets pitching legend Dwight "Doc" Gooden has had a troubled history with drugs—most recently, he was arrested for DUI in NJ after rear-ending a neighbor's car (his son was unrestrained in the backseat) last year—and now he's going to rehab...the celebrity, reality television kind with Dr. Drew Pinsky. And his fellow "celebrities" will include Lindsay Lohan's pugnacious dad Michael, White House state dinner party crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi, actress Bai Ling and Baywatch actor Jeremy Jackson. more ›

Lindsay Lohan Is NOT Appearing On Letterman

Lindsay Lohan Is NOT Appearing On Letterman

Yesterday CBS announced that Lindsay Lohan would be delivering the Top Ten on Thursday's The Late Show with David Letterman, via satellite from California. Today the show's production company announced that Lohan would not be appearing, explaining someone purporting to be a friend of Lindsay's booked the appearance. Turns out that person was actually her father. What an emotional rollercoaster this whole thing has been! But in case Lindsay has the urge to take it out on the bottle, Charlie Sheen has some words of advice—and we can all agree, that is just amazing. (Recently his words of advice have included: crack is okay if you can manage it socially!) more ›

Lindsay Lohan's Dad Suffers Heart Attack

Lindsay Lohan's Dad Suffers Heart Attack

Yesterday Lindsay Lohan's 49-year-old father Michael was rushed to a hospital in New York after suffering a minor heart attack. He was with his girlfriend Kate Major at the time, who told Radar that "he was short of breath all day. His blood pressure skyrocketed." She said they were in Miami and "just flew back to New York... he didn’t feel well all day today.” This is the 2nd time Lohan has been rushed to the hospital due to chest pains, and he will reportedly undergo a procedure to unclog arteries in his heart this Friday. Wonder if that milkaholic will made amends with pops. more ›

The Lohan-Ledger Connection

The Lohan-Ledger Connection

These Lohan family tapes keep getting released, and allegedly the latest recorded conversation between Lindsay's parents reveals that the actress was dating Heath Ledger back in January 2008... when he died! Dun dun dun. Mama Lohan told her ex-husband during this particular phone conversation, "I don't know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends. Very, very close, okay? That fucked her up. When she's drunk or takes an Adderall with it, she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking." She went on to say that Ledger's death set her daughter off into the downward spiral. And the fastest way to help her out of that downward spiral is to release private conversations about her personal life. more ›

Knock Out Lindsay Lohan's Dad for Charity

Knock Out Lindsay Lohan's Dad for Charity

From the inbox comes a press release whose subject line pretty much says it all: "Highest Bidder Gets a Chance to Knock Out Lindsay Lohan's Father Michael In Charity Boxing Match." It goes on to explain that Michael Lohan, subject of many hate-blogs posted by Lindsay and her good friend Samantha Ronson on their MySpace pages, is putting himself on auction to highest bidder to box three rounds in the annual Long Island Fight For Charity. Ideally Ms. Ronson would get up there herself, but since that isn't happening (yet!), the charity suggests you submit an offer (starting at $5,000) to boxing(a)lifightforcharity(dot)com. Lohan himself wanted to get K-fed in the ring with him, but "there was no funding source." Who will benefit from the beatdown? Organizations like Family Residence and Essential Enterprises who help more than 3,000 individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. more ›

Lohans Vow to Keep Family Secrets

Lohans Vow to Keep Family Secrets

Following their Nassau County Family Court appearance yesterday regarding visitation rights, Michael and Dina Lohan held a joint press conference to let the press know they will no longer be talking to them. In fact, The Daily News reports that Dina's lawyer said the two want to keep their lives private. Presumably they mean starting now, but everyone with basic cable is given a weekly (albeit edited) glimpse into Living Lohan on Dina's reality show, and Michael blogs about it for OK! Magazine. Still, the two would like to control the press and dim the spotlight on the family's little secrets (even if everyone can see their most famous daughter's private MySpace profile).

"They really want the press to stay out of their lives," said Eugene Russo, Dina's lawyer. "They're doing what's in the best interest of the children. They would appreciate if they are allowed to participate in the childrens' lives without the press." more ›
