Daily News Reminds Us How Much Spitzer Sucked

We always thought the Post hated Spitzer the most, but hours before Eliot Spitzer makes his CNN talk show co-hosting debut, the Daily News has a story slamming him: "As the disgraced former Luv Gov weighs in on the national and state issues of the day, more should remember what a dismal governor Spitzer was before his dalliance with call girls became public." more ›

Eliot Spitzer Is Really Considering A Comeback, Friend Says

Director Alex Gibney's untitled, work-in-progress Eliot Spitzer documentary will be screened during the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend, and the movie's star may be in the audience, the film's publicists tell Politico. We wouldn't want to regulate an industry that has just destroyed our economy." It's a pretty great interview; watch below and wonder how things might have been different if our political culture's hypocritical puritanism hadn't forced Spitzer out over some stupid (okay, fine, technically illegal) infidelities. more ›

Luv Gov "Honored" With Preakness Horse As Troopergate Returns

If you hear that the "Luv Gov" is chasing after Black-eyed Susans this weekend, it's probably not what you think. One of the thirteen horses entered into the Preakness Stakes this weekend in Baltimore, Luv Gov (pictured) has been given the same nickname slapped on former Governor Eliot Spitzer. The thoroughbred's owner is Marylou Whitney, an upstate Republican with another horse named "Ninth Client." more ›
