Blood Gets In My Eyes

Louis Barone, aka Lump Lump Barone, who shot another patron at Rao's restaurant right before Christmas will be pleaing that he was insane and angry. Ah, yes, the prosecutors love the insane and angry defense. The 67 year old Barone shot Albert Cicerelli at the Harlem Italian restuarant after Cicerelli first insulted a woman singing at Rao's and then insulted Barone:
Cicerelli: "Oh God. Could someone shut this f–––ing broad up?"
Barone: "Hey, watch your mouth. Mind your manners. You're talking about a lady."
Cicerelli: "F––– you, I'll f––– you in the ass and I'll split you in two."
Barone told the Post, "The things that were coming out of this guy's mouth - I've never spoken to a man like that," and told the police, "I was really mad at this point. I had blood in my eyes." Barone was carrying a gun because the nation had been elevated to a "high/orange" alert, so we'll wait for the "Homeland Security made me pack some heat which I used when I was angry" defense.
