Last season’s The Curse of the Mystic Renaldo The was a blast; Losing Something tested the potential of a new holographic technology called Eyeliner but was hindered by an inert script. Of course that’s the nature of experiments; you risk regrettable results. League of Electronic Musical Urban Robots (LEMUR) presents its first concert series consisting entirely of works commissioned for LEMUR's musical robots. Titled "Robosonic Eclectic: Live Music by Robots and Humans," the program will be performed during a three-night run, from Thursday May 31 through Saturday June 2, 2007, each night with a start time of 8 pm. Losing Something is a new play by theater and media group 3-Legged Dog (3LD), whose headquarters at 30 West Broadway were destroyed on 9/11. EVENT: The avant-gourmands from Radiohole (who have been blogging about their adventures in Vermont) will be giving “private-dingy palm readings and psychic-portraits featuring Peek-a-Boo Technology” at the grand opening party for Three Legged Dog. The company’s new home, which is at the World Trade Center site, was recently heralded by the Times as a sign of “hope” for the other stalled projects at Ground Zero.
