The city's top restaurants represented in full force yesterday at D'Artagnan's Fourth Annual Duckathlon, a culinary competition where chefs tackle food-related and often wacky challenges throughout the Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District.

After last week's huge box office take for , you know that we're in it: the bang-up summer blockbuster season. However, even with all of this energy of over the top new releases in the air there's still some amazing old movies screening this weekend too. So you better get a watchin'.

I need to find some people to go see this with me this weekend: Jean-Pierre Melville’s “LE CERCLE ROUGE” at Film Forum in New York City... A list of other Melville films that I've enjoyed: Le Samourai, Bob Le Flambeur, Un Flic. Next on the list after Le Cercle Rouge: Le Doulos.
