Sunday June 22nd marks the return of Stink-Fest on Smith Street, a mini-celebration of all cheese pungent and dank. With that comes one of the better competitive eating events in recent memory, the Stinky Cheese Eating contest. The call for new competitors is out at this very moment, so get ready: Last year, Oliver “cheese baron” Butler – director of acclaimed theater company The Debate Society – dominated the contest by downing 6 oz. of Cantal in one minute flat.

On all counts, Michael Psilakis has been on quite a roll. Though his two-starred Dona was shuttered due to a real estate snafu, he went on to earn a Michelin star at Anthos, one of only two Greek restaurants with this honor, his to-die-for gnudi recipe was featured on the cover of Bon Appetit, was named Esquire's chef of the year, and opened up Mia Dona, which just yesterday earned two stars from Frank Bruni. Now, to top it off, he's been named as one of Food & Wine Magazine's Best New Chefs of the year. Congratulations! The list is definitely lacking in the New York department, though. Where's the love?

Back in May we asked what you thought of a Sex and the City movie, 51% of you thought it was coming three years too late. Whether we like it or not, the movie is going to happen - after Kim Cattrall finally signed on. Word is that she wanted a higher salary and a deal for a future HBO show, both of which she got. Guess her post-Samantha days haven't been filled with great roles (see: Ice Princess with Michelle Trachtenberg).

The moment people who are dying for some sort of royal-related mishap have been waiting for has come: Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, have arrived in New York on their first visit to the colonies. Apparently, the British idea of a memorial for the British citizens who died at the World Trade Center is some sort of engraved gong. But Camilla did look right at home in this AP photo, as she has the "something smell funny" look anyone else would have if they had to listen to George Pataki blathering on. The British press is having a field day with the American press calling their visit a "bore."

It's two games into the Stephon Marbury–as–a–Knick era, and though it might be premature to say, it's looking bleak. Eight points his first game, six points last night (though he did get 10 assists). Even though everyone is talking about how a team can't click immediately, Marbury said, "I would never think that it would happen this bad."

Ad Age coos over what they think is the most successful product placement this summer: Absolut Vodka's critical role in a Sex and the City plot line between Kim Cattrall and Jason Lewis. No money changed hands, which doesn't surprise Gothamist - you cannot buy publicity like this. Patrick O'Neill, creative director of TBWA/Chiat Day, created the ad, and was "inspired" by seminal pin-up posters of "Farrah Fawcett in a swimsuit and Burt Reynolds on a shaggy rug." Also, TBWA "." Love handles! Jason Lewis has love handles? They must be imaginary ones.

The Daily News spends a day on set of Sex and the City - the day they happen to be filming at Soho House. The News is quick to point out that even though the girls are fabulous, "" Gawker, who has visited Soho House in less nefarious ways, has this tip about where else in the club SATC filmed.

Gothamist was walking by the American Museum of Natural History and noticed that the Rose Center was lit up. Then we remembered: It was where the screening and premiere party for Sex and the City was taking place.

Following up on stumbling across Sex and the City filming at the Trapeze School downtown, The Sun tells Gothamist that it was Sarah Jessica Parker (as Carrie) who was airborne, with Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, and Kristin Davis on cheering her on.

Jason Lewis will be playing Kim Cattrall's boyfriend in the upcoming season of Sex and the City. Jason Lewis is a model and sometime actor (Beverly Hills 90210), but his biggest role recently has been as fiance (now ex-fiance) of Paris Hilton.
