Steven Spielberg Thinks The World Needs Jurassic Park 4

Because 2001's Jurassic Park III was pretty much Citizen Kane II, director Steven Spielberg announced at San Diego's Comic Con yesterday that he already has a "story and a screenwriter" for Jurassic Park 4, and that according to OTRC, "the film will hopefully come together in the next two or three years." Presumably Spielberg's decision has nothing to do with the $368 million Jurassic Park III made worldwide, and it's totally about ahhrrrttt. more ›

When we were in elementary school our class once hatched chickens in an incubator. One Friday it was our turn to take some of the chicks home for the weekend and so we put three little peeps into a cardboard box at the end of the day and left school for home. But first we went to go and see which had opened that day. Peter Jackson's King Kong Trailer

The first trailer for Peter Jackson’s King Kong finally hit the internet, featuring Adrien Brody, a digital King Kong and Naomi Watts as his love interest, a few Jurassic Park leftovers, and Jack Black (who is so hard to take seriously). We’re quite optimistic LOTR’s Jackson can pull off an updated version of Hollywood classic and so far, Jackson insists he's refrained from reinventing the storyline: “Our story follows the same structure. It starts in New York, goes to Skull Island, and there are dinosaurs on the island. Then it comes back to New York and there's the Empire State Building and the biplanes and the whole thing."

Designing Kicks with The Whitest Kids

Three weeks ago, Gothamist went to the Nike iD at 255 Studio with The Whitest Kids U Know to check out the invite only store and to design some shoes. Now we're giving those sneakers away. The storefront has several shoes in the windows, but none are for sale because visitors to the studio design their sneaker by choosing different colors for the various items on the shoe, much like the process on the Nike iD website. more ›
