Rudy Hater Will Leave Him Alone... After a Few More Words

John McCluskey pleaded not guilty today to second-degree harassment charges for his Hamptons altercation with Rudy Giuliani this weekend, but did go ahead and sign an order of protection saying that he would leave Giuliani and wife Judith Nathan alone. McCluskey did not bring a lawyer to court today, telling reporters, "Why would I dignify this with a lawyer? I think it's so frivolous." Both sides accuse the other of elevating the spat into physical threats—police reports say that when McCluskey was being taken away as he said to cops, "I didn't know that scumbag still has so much power out here...I have the right to speak my mind and tell him how evil he is...You all will regret this." McCluskey might have to think about dignifying the incident with a lawyer pretty soon—he'll need one to show up in his place at the next court date in June. He told a judge that he won't be there since he's leaving the country to film a documentary.

Rudy's New Nemesis Calls Him a Sleazy, Egomaniac Bully

Both sides of the Rudy Giuliani vs. Rudy Hater 5672834340 incident were quick to jump into the spin battle after Saturday's confrontation in the Hamptons where Jack of all trades John McCluskey was led away in handcuffs after allegedly threatening the former mayor while he was out in Bridgehampton with wife Judith Nathan.

Giuliani Hater Gets Up in Rudy's Grill Out in the Hamptons

Rudy Giuliani and wife Judi Nathan were enjoying the holiday weekend in the Hamptons yesterday when a publishing executive got in the face of the former mayor and gave him a little more than a piece of his mind. After stepping out of a Presbyterian church where he was attending an art fair, 69-year-old John McCluskey confronted the Giulianis on a Bridgehampton street, poked his finger in Rudy's chest and uttered a sentiment more than a few New Yorkers share, "You're the worst person in the world and I'm going to punch you out!"

2008_09_rudjude.jpgThe travails of Russell Harding, former Rudy Giuliani-appointed head of the NYC Housing Development Corporation have been well documented, especially in the Village Voice. Harding, who billed the city for his personal travels, dining, and a vehicle and whose computer was found with child pornography on it, is out of prison and seemingly ready to settle some scores.

Rudy Giuliani's poor showing in the presidential campaign has plenty of people giving their opinions on why it all went wrong.

It appears that Judith Nathan, the current Mrs. Giuliani, may have been enjoying taxpayer-funded car service provided by the police while her affair with former Mayor Giuliani was unknown. Giuliani's admitted that he gave his girlfriend a security detail once their relationship became public because of possible threats against her, but it appears that Nathan was enjoying New York's Finest as a taxi service months before anyone even knew the two were involved with each...

Just in time for last night's Republican debate, political website Politico broke a story claiming that former mayor Rudy Giuliani billed "obscured city agencies for tens of thousands of dollars in security expenses" for extra-marital Hamptons trips with future wife Judith Nathan. When Giuliani would travel outside the city, he would be accompanied by a police detail. And if he stayed overnight, the police would also need lodging and other expenses taken care of. Politico...

April Fool's! When America's Mayor told Barbara Walters that his wife, Judith Nathan, would be attending Cabinet meetings if he's elected President, he was totally joking. Some confusion arose when Giuliani told Walters that Nathan would be welcome at Cabinet meetings if they were discussing something she might find interesting: "If she wanted to. If they were relevant to something that she was interested in. I mean that would be something that I'd be very, very comfortable with".

It's total News Corp. synergy! Rudy Giuliani teased his presidential campaign plans for the gazillionth time to Sean Hannity on Fox News last night, but let's talk about the nutty Post cover of Giuliani and wife Judi Nathan making out. Okay, they aren't making out - it's apparently an arty photograph for the next issue of Harper's Bazaar. Even though the picture makes us want to dig out our eyes, Judi looks like a foxy femme fatale. And then we read the Post article:

"I've always liked strong, macho men, and Rudy - I'm not saying this because he's my husband - is one of the smartest people on the planet," gushed the former Judith Nathan to Harper's Bazaar in editions due out Feb. 20.

Rudy Giuliani and companion Judith Nathan were married yesterday by Mayor Bloomberg at Gracie Mansion. Gothamist likes the idea of having a press conference right after the wedding - it's very romantic. We were also shocked when we saw the pictures of Caroline and Andrew Giuliani, especially Andrew. Gothamist is very fond of Chris Farley's performance as a clambering, fat, hyper Andrew Giuliani during Rudy's inauguration and we're sure all of you are, too.
