In August, a jury found Rebekah Johnson not guilty of the 2006 shooting of a commune leader on Staten Island. Even though Ganas leader Jeffrey Gross identified Johnson as his shooter, the jury believed Johnson's defense lawyer who suggested it was too dark for Gross to see a shooter. But now Gross is filing a civil lawsuit against Johnson, telling reporters today, "Rebekah Johnson shot me six times... there's not a doubt in my mind. She stalked and harassed me for two years." Gross added that Johnson should be charged for the AK-47 and 1,000 rounds of ammo found in her Philadelphia apartment (she lived there while on the lam). Gross says he still fears for his life.

Rebekah Johnson, who apparently fled after allegedly shooting the leader of the Ganas commune on Staten Island in 2006, was found not guilty by a jury yesterday. The victim, Jeffrey Gross, who was shot in his leg, arm, neck and stomach, said, "I'm stunned, that's about it."
