- Boston 2 Rangers 1: Here’s the situation, the Rangers are five points behind the Bruins with ten games left. They aren’t dead, but they are certainly close to being so. And that’s because they couldn’t beat Boston in a must-win game on Sunday. In their defense, they showed effort in this game, but it wasn’t enough as the Bruins exploited a couple of their defensive lapses and took the game. Now, New York needs to rip off a big winning streak if they hope to have any chance of making the playoffs.
- Houston 116 Knicks 112: The Knicks keep trading guys and they keep coming back to haunt them. Jordan Hill had 13 points while Trevor Ariza added 12 and Jared Jeffries played some great defense down the stretch. That allowed the Rockets to overcome a 32-17 deficit after the first quarter and send New York to another loss in a lost season.

Last Night's Action: The Rangers Get Back To Winning
The game was stopped midway through the second period after an ugly collision between Colton Orr and former Ranger Matt Cullen. Cullen took this worst of it as he was momentarily knocked unconscious and had to leave the game. While it didn’t look intentional, the referee assessed an interference penalty and a game misconduct on Orr. Orr should expect to hear from the league office in Toronto shortly.
Last Night's Action: A Double Downer At MSG
The Lakers cruised to a 70-45 lead and then had to hang on against a Knicks’ rally that happened with the unit of Nate Robinson, David Lee, Malik Rose, Jared Jeffries and Jamal Crawford playing most of the minutes. What changes are coming? It’s hard to say, but a good start would be splitting Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph up. Let’s just hope Isiah doesn’t start making trades.
Happy Four Year Isiah Thomas-versary!
That’s right Knicks fans, it was four years ago today that Isiah Thomas came to town and boldly stated, "My only goal is to win the N.B.A. championship. In my mind, everything else is failure."

Last Night's Action: No Kobe No Problem
Jared Jeffries was back in the starting lineup and responded with 14 points while Eddy Curry and Stephon Marbury added 27 and 22 points apiece.
Last Night's Action: Revenge Is Sweet
Besides the inspired play of Crawford, the Knicks finally made a lineup change. Jared Jeffries was sent to the bench and Channing Frye got the start. Jeffries only played 15 minutes while Frye played 37 and David Lee 29 coming off the bench. Hopefully, Isiah has finally realized that Frye and Lee deserve the time more than Jeffries.

Last Night's Action: Knicks Won't Leave West Empty-Handed
- Knicks 99, Blazers 81: When the Knicks win, they can usually thank Eddy Curry. The big man took congratulations again for leading the Knicks to a victory in Portland, their first on this five-game West Coast swing. After seeing his team drop games to the Suns, Clippers and Kings, Curry helped his team stop the bleeding by dumping 27. Jamal Crawford -- who, behind Curry, might be the most consistent Knick -- had 25. Knicks fans should also be happy to see that David Lee logged one more minute than Jared Jeffries, even in a blowout. Lee has outperformed Jeffries in every way possible since the higher-paid player came back from his wrist injury. But the Knicks would be a better team if Coach Isiah Thomas weren't so stubborn and let Lee's merits outweigh Jeffries' income.
Did Isiah Order The Code Red?
It is getting impossible to root for the Knicks anymore. The franchise is completely lost, stuck over the salary cap for the rest of the decade and playing uninspired basketball. Now we learn that the head coach is running the team like a mob boss, ordering his players to take out opponents.
Last Night's Action: If the Knicks Can't Win That Game...
-Knicks 94, Hawks 82: Eddy Curry scored 20 points -- again -- and the Knicks took care of the injury-riddled Hawks at home. Josh Childress and Joe Johnson, Atlanta's leading scorer, missed the game. Nonetheless, the Knicks. Curry's streak of 20-plus point games, now at 11, is the longest since Patrick Ewing did it in the 1993-1994 season. His play and that of Jared Jeffries, who had 15 points in his first start this season, helped create the rare easy Knicks win at the Garden.
Last Night's Action: Knicks Can't Recover
-Boston 97 New York 90: The Knicks dug themselves a seemingly insurmountable hole in the third quarter, yet almost escaped. Down 30 points, New York staged a furious comeback and had two possessions in the last minute of the game down only by three, but they couldn’t get the job done.
Let The Fun Begin!
In his infinite wisdom, James Dolan has declared that Isiah Thomas must show “measurable” progress to keep his job after this season. What exactly that means hasn’t been defined, but the question is; how can this team not improve on last season? The Knicks managed only 23 wins last year and seemed to use a different lineup every night. Larry Brown ruined his reputation as a great coach by sniping at his players in the media and failing to set a rotation. In short, there is no possible scenario where this team plays worse than it did last year.
Last Night’s Action: The Cyclones Keep Rolling
-Brooklyn 3 Staten Island 0: Jacob Ruckle was dominant going eight innings while allowing only four hits and striking out ten as Brooklyn increased their division lead to two games.
