Apply Today For An Internship At Wu-Tang Management!
If you aren't a student of the Wu-Tang Clan, then you should know that cash rules everything around you, so you need to start diversifying your bonds. But if you are an aficionado of everything RZA, GZA, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, then perhaps it's time you put your superior Wu-knowledge to good use... as an intern at Wu-Tang Management on Staten Island. He told us that some interns "may go on to become permanent." Check out the Wu-Tang job Craigslist posting below, as well as a helpful video reminder that Wu Tang knows how to handle portfolios:

Kids Of The Rich & Connected Land City Hall Internships
The NY Times used the Freedom of Information Act to find out exactly who is landing coveted City Hall internships. And, SURPRISE, many of the interns are the children of the rich, famous and/or connected: "They are the children and relatives of boldface names, like Lloyd C. Blankfein, the chief executive of Goldman Sachs; Peter G. Peterson, co-founder of the Blackstone Group; and Laurence A. Tisch, who was a hotel mogul and chief executive of CBS... The roster has also included grandchildren and stepchildren of people with ties to Mr. Bloomberg and his friends, including the grandson of Robert A. Caro, chronicler of Robert Moses, and the stepson of Neil Simon, the playwright, who endorsed Mr. Bloomberg last fall."
Gothamist Call for Video and Photo Interns
We're looking for a couple more enthusiastic interns to shoot and edit very simple video segments for Gothamist. (Here's one example.) These shoots would occur a handful of times per month, and you need to have your own camera and basic editing software. There's no pay, but there is immense glory and even college credit available. We are also looking for a photographer to occasionally shoot various fun events throughout NYC. For more details inquire within, and please email your resume, availability during the week and any other relevant information to info@gothamist.com, subject "internship." (No attachments, but please link to your work online if possible.)
Versace Makes Interns Pay to Work for Free
Further proof that this whole internship thing is totally out of hand: the Italian designer Versace has put one of its mad exclusive and totally unpaid internships up for auction, and the bidding is climbing through the thousands. With a week left to go, some misguided parent may pay over ten thousand dollars to get their nineteen-year-old cleaning up fabric scraps.
Post-Dave, CT College Re-examines Internship Programs
Thanks to David Letterman's admission that he had flings with staffers, Quinnipiac College told TMZ, "Due to recent circumstances we will have a discussion with those in charge of placing our interns at the David Letterman show in the future. We will diligently oversee this internship program to ensure that our interns are out of harm's way." Gawker wonders, "Isn't this going a bit, oh, we don't know — far? Should Letterman really cross over to full-blown villainy?... It's not like he's Jack the Ripper or the intern's greatest nightmare: a Congressman."
