Gothamist is a proud sponsor of the upcoming foodie, a sixty person, six-course Gulf Coast inspired tasting event created by our own Joe DeSalazar. This special foodie, which is being held on October 16th from 6-9:30 pm, is designed to raise funds for the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, with the goal of donating 70% or more of the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity in hopes of assisting the reconstruction of the Gulf Coast region.
