NYPD: Very Crispy Gangsters May Be Involved In "Freaky Friday" Shooting
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly spoke about yesterday's Brooklyn shooting that spilled out from a East New York house party. Police said that the fight was instigated when two men bumped into each other during a "Freaky Friday" party at 325 Wyona Street. Now, the cops say the men may have been in gangs; Kelly said, "We believe there's gang involvement here -- one group called the 'Very Crispy Gangsters' who may have some involvement."

Shooting at Bronx House Party Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Injured
Police are searching for gunmen who fired onto people at a Bronx house party, killing a 17-year-old girl and injuring two others. According to NY1, the suspects were angry after being turned away from the party (whose hostess even had guests frisked at the door) at 1495 Morris Avenue around 2 a.m. yesterday morning. The Post says the suspects probably "waited outside to get revenge," and during a fight, Nadaire Walters, 17, was shot in the chest. The gunfire scared the crowd, and the NY Times reports Walters was "trampled": A neighbor who heard six shots said, "The girl fell, and they all trampled her trying to get back into the building. They came back out and dragged her back into the building, but she was already dead.”
