Mister Cee Guilty Of Loitering After Gay Oral Sex Bust
Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee, who was caught in March being orally serviced in his car by a young man who sometimes goes by the name Brooke-Lynn, pleaded guilty to loitering for the purpose of engaging in a prostitution offense today. He was ordered to complete 12 sessions of counseling with a doctor for the violation.
Mister Cee's "Friend" Also Goes By The Name Brooke-Lynn?
Yesterday news broke that 44-year-old Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee (real name Calvin Labrun) was arrested early last Wednesday after being caught by police while allegedly engaged in a sex act in his car with a 20-year-old named Lawrence Campbell. Despite Cee's denial tweets (which may not be his!) the story has been bouncing around the Interwebs and radio waves for the last 24 hours. And somewhat surprisingly for the often-homophobic rap community the response hasn't been nearly as nasty as it could have been.

Whoops? Early last Wednesday morning Calvin Labrun (a.k.a. Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee) was arrested by the NYPD for public lewdness after he was found in a parked car being fellated by a man half his age. However, he's denying it on his Twitter, "Nah that shit not true.. You know how i rock."
Police Search For Motive, Suspect In DJ Megatron Shooting
Yesterday, 106 & Park host and HOT 97 personality DJ Megatron (born Corey McGriff) was fatally shot on Staten Island, and so far no arrests have been made. Neighbors told cops they saw four young men running from the area after the shooting, but police have yet to find a witness. However, they have nearly ruled out that the shooting was a robbery gone wrong, and think Megatron may have been shot over an unpaid debt.

Radio Silence For DJ Cipha After Haiti Comment
Following his appalling on-air comment last week, DJ Cipha Sounds of Hot 97 has been suspended indefinitely. He told his listening audience on Friday, "The reason I'm HIV negative is because I don't mess with Haitian girls." This led to a coalition of Haitian community leaders raising their voices and rallying outside of the Hot 97 headquarters, and now the Daily News reports that the station has suspended him, despite defending him at first and saying he was just a young man who made a mistake.
Hot 97 Deejay Thinks All Haitians Have HIV?
Hot 97 DJ Cipha Sounds is the latest radio personality to say something dumb on air. During his Friday morning show last week, the deejay told listeners, "The reason I'm HIV negative is because I don't mess with Haitian girls." So, yeah, the Haitian community is not happy, and now they, as well as local leaders, are calling for him to be fired.
Hot 97 Manager: Cops Stopped Me For Cab Riding While Black
It's so hard for black people to get a cab in this town that when they finally flag one, cops think they're robbing it. At least, that's one conclusion you could draw from Hot 97 / Kiss FM manager Terrence Battle, who was riding home to Bed-Stuy in a livery cab around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday morning when the NYPD pulled the car over. He says cops humiliated him outside his home for no other reason than because he's black, and claims they justified the search by pointing to a sticker on the car allowing police to stop the vehicle at any time to check on the driver's safety. Here's Battle's story, in his own words:

Now the Daily News has an update from Rikers, where the rapper has been doing a lot of reflecting since getting locked up there in March.
Hit Men and Harassment at Hot97
Who knew radio could be so dangerous? The Daily News reports that deejay Wendy Williams' husband (the two are pictured together) had plotted to kill one of Hot97's deejays, a rival who allegedly trashed his wife on the air.
