. Hopefully it will be as cheese-tastic as it seems from the trailers and the title. However, whether you're first in line tonight at a midnight screening or not, there's still loads coming up to see at the movies.

Before getting cast on the Surreal Life, going to rehab, getting engaged...or whatever else celebrities do while white knuckling on to their career and/or become "edgier", they go to Misshapes. Love it or hate it, this party gets more press than some of it's guest stars on the decks.

We'll have a full list of April and May shows coming up soon, there are A LOT to cover. We find it somehow comforting that we're already buying tickets for shows in the springtime ... we're ready to thaw! Moving on, so as not to repeat ourselves here is last month's sell outs list which has tickets that are still on sale for upcoming shows. And as for the below list we have starred the shows that have a high risk factor of Hilary Duff being in attendance, consider this a public service.

You can tell a lot about a year by seeing which posts were popular, and from Gothamist's standpoint, it's been a banner year for our readers who are perverts or nerds (we're hoping the loyal readers are both). Here are a few of our most popular posts: Thoughts on the Matrix Reloaded; 100 Best Songs; when we pretended to know all about friendster messages; Paris Hilton sex tapes and her SNL appearance; Nicole Richie's racial identity; What not to do when you blog; Jelly Kelly; Best Movie Sex Scenes; Michael Jackson's mugshot; Nudist camps for teenagers; Blackout Edition; Lever House Restaurant; Metrosexuals; Hating Lauren Weisberger (related, Weisberger on her boss Anna Wintour ), Jayson Blair, Blair Hornstine; Larry Wachowski's possible sex change; anything on teenaged stars, speficially Hilary Duff (related, her nutty fans); the New York City Blackout Edition; and our Events page, brought to life by editor Mindy and intern Willa.

The Post and Daily News have wrapups of the post-MTV VMA parties, and Gothamist likes the mentions of Nicole Kidman and Q-Tip, our favorite maybe-maybe-not couple (it makes her seem much more interesting). There are also mentions of the Madonna-Britney kiss and Jermaine Dupri. Lycos feels that Nicole & Q-Tip are mismatched, but in reality, they aren't - they are both famous and pretty. There are also mentions of Justin, Madonna, the Hiltons, Eminem...

Variety's Timothy Gray tells CNN, ""It's always 'a roller coaster ride' or 'the feel-good movie of the summer.' Sometimes I think, not only have I never heard of these people, but I've never heard of their organization." CNN looks for one critic, Earl Dittman, who "works for a publication company called Wireless Magazines, which maintains no public Web site and has limited distribution." Hmm...maybe Gothamist should try to raise our brand awareness by getting overzealous movie publicists to pick up our quotes ("Seabiscuit...a little bloodless".... "Tomb Raider...nipples retouched out of poster").

place for her fans to tell Hilary how much they love her, how beautiful they think she is, how they would like her to call/email/contact them somehow. It's also the place for her detractors are scoff her fans and cause trouble. (Gothamist thinks they find their way here after doing Google searches on Hilary Duff's breasts.) All in all, it's comedy gold, as reader Wesley commented. To wit, here is a typical comment:

Vanity Fair becomes Teen People!

Fifteen year old industry, Hilary Duff, is featured in the second item of the Observer's New York World column. Why? Because her breasts are stopping men in their tracks. There is some debate about whether or not they are Duff's breasts, but the killer quote is from Elisa DeCarl: "My guess is that they are going for that all-important Humbert Humbert demographic," she said. "The audience will be 90 percent preteens and their parents, 10 percent shifty-looking older men in raincoats." Gothamist thinks shifty-looking older men's ages will start at, oh, 24.
