While clowns marching across 34th Street this week may have drawn protests for the elephants they led across town, Bozos popping up across 22nd Street seem only to delight anyone aware of the office war they have been conscripted into. Daily Intel has an account of the "Bozoff" going on in the windows of two Grammercy offices directly across the street from one another. After an inflatable Bozo from their Christmas party hung out unassumingly in a Harrison & Star window for a couple of months, it recently found itself confronted by another Bozo in the VideoHelper window that faces it. After the clowns both shot some threatening signs each other's way, VideoHelper stepped it up and now have a Bozo gang of four clowns standing guard over 22nd. Harrison & Star promises retaliation, has had brainstorming meetings on their next move and "treated the Bozo payback initiative like any other client project." VideoHelper has a funny blog detailing their battle plan thus far, including a funeral for a Bozo that deflated and they then taxidermied.
