[Ed: Like clockwork, music picks from prodigious music blogger Coolfer. Also check out more at Gothamist Events.]

Gothamist is happy to introduce a new feature on the site: the Gothamist Digest. This page has the current day's posts from all pages of Gothamist, including the Gothamist front page, Andrew Krucoff's YM Interview, Gothamist Weather, Ask Gothamist, and Gothamist Sports. We're going to try to integrate the Gothamist Events page in the coming weeks as well. The Digest is also available as an RSS feed (RSS1.0, RSS2.0), for those of you who want to syndicate it or read it through an RSS browser. Gothamist will continue to have each of the sections as standalone blogs, for those of you who prefer to browse section-by-section.

- Educate yourself about the weather - we just did on Bermuda Highs
- See some music via Coolfer's music picks or check out other goings on at Gothamist Events
- And, to plan ahead, Mindy told us about a free screening on Monday night for the film, Seducing Doctor Lewis. It won an audience award at Sundance last year and was also at Cannes. The film sort of sounds like Northern Exposure, but set in Canada, with a village trying to convince a doctor to stay in their sleepy fishing town, and that might not be such a bad thing. More information on how to RSVP for the screening, click below "Continue reading..."

For information on these events and more things to do in the city, check out Gothamist Events. And the Happy Ending Reading Series was mentioned in the Times earlier this week, as was Lindsayism's monthly Ritalin Reading Series. Rock on.

As I mentioned earlier, Gothamist is rolling out some new features. Today, we're launching the beta version of the Gothamist Events feed, a listing of concerts, shows, happenings, pow-wows, drunken posses, and other occurances that we feel may interest you, our surly, panda-obsessed readership.
